From a London based economist to a Dubai based integrative medicine doctor and nutritionist, and what feels like everything in between -
I’ve dived deeply into the well of being and healing, both for myself and people who come to me for help.

My Story | Dr Laura Holland, PhD
In 2020 I qualified as a doctor of integrative medicine, expanding my understanding and appreciation of traditional, complementary and alternative therapies, and also found my way home, happily rooted in England.
Thankfully my travelling spirit is often on the move as I’m fortunate my work takes me to so many beautiful places to work with people I love.
Alongside my consultancy, co-creating with clients a personalised approach to healing the health and well-being challenges they’re facing in a meaningful way for them, I also have two businesses that are contributing to improving the health and wellbeing of as many people as we can reach.
I cofounded Vegemi, a holistic food and health education method for children and parents. I’m also a partner in a social enterprise, Venner Nutrition providing healthy food aid to families facing food insecurity, alongside nutrition education for families and children.
Food poverty in the UK is at a critical point, and the health of our diet is in drastic need of improvement to safeguard our future health and well-being, both physical and mental.
Access to healthy food should be for everyone, alongside being empowered with skills and nutrition know-how to make this practical and affordable for all.
I also founded Trialwell, a platform that helps everyone get easy access to treatments they may need whilst supporting health research, with a particular focus on preventative and lifestyle medicine.
There is so much that traditional, complementary and alternative therapies have to offer, and I believe everyone should have easy access to them, but to make this happen, research is needed so that it can become fully integrated into the healthcare system.
All of these experiences have given me enormous insight into health and well-being at multiple levels, not least my own, as I’ve learned to navigate the demands of life and business with how I approach my own healing, especially with stress and anxiety often induced by high-pressure moments in life that we can all relate to.
I’ve discovered that being well is an ever-unfolding, always-evolving way of living in harmony with our true self, and dis-ease is the body’s way of telling us that we’ve stepped out of this harmony and changes are needed.
Healing, is finding and living the path that allows you to truly Be U! I believe that healing is always possible, and this is what I wish and intend for each of us.
Much love,
Laura xxx

Your BeUtiful Body: A Guide to Eating and Loving Your Body Light
“This book is different, it’s not about dieting as such but more holistic, about the relationships you have with your body, yourself and the food you eat and being in harmony and feeling light and wonderful. I have read it twice and it totally makes sense. Easy to read with lots of very useful facts and ideas. Includes a week by week easy to follow plan that I’m about to start. Highly recommend.”
